Contact Us

Following the launch of the CIRB new case management system on December 7, 2020, clients will no longer be able to fax applications and other correspondence to the Board. The exchange of written correspondence and documents related to a case file should take place using the Board’s e-Filing Web Portal. However, clients who are experiencing issues with the portal may call our toll-free number 1-800-575-9696 for assistance or to obtain alternate ways of filing documents.

For information or general inquiries, please contact us:

  • By email
  • By calling our toll free number: 1-800-575-9696
  • People who use TTY should place calls with the assistance of a Bell Relay Service operator at: 1-800-855-0511

If you wish to file an application, appeal or a complaint with the Board pursuant to Part I, Part II or Part III of the Canada Labour Code or the Wage Earner Protection Program (WEPP), it should be sent by e-filing or by mail to one of our regional offices.

Please note that complaints of unjust dismissal must first be filed with Employment and Social Development Canada’s Labour Program, which may then refer the complaint to the Board for adjudication. The Board only handles unjust dismissal complaints which have been referred to the Board by the Labour Program.

WEPP applications must first be made with Service Canada. The Board only handles appeals of WEPP decisions.
